About The Builder
Welcome to Hilt Builder. I'm Graeme, and I created this site to help cosplayers, prop makers, or 3D printing enthusiasts like myself a change to create a hilt that's personal to them!
The Mission
Finding the perfect hilt isn't easy. You either have to buy pre-made files that don't quite fit your vision, or spend hours learning 3D software to design your own from scratch. Hopefully, Hilt Builder makes this easier for folks. It's intended to be a modular system of detailed, interchangeable parts, you can use to construct your ultimate custom design right in your browser to then later bring it to life on your 3D printer.
Every single emitter, grip, and pommel on this site has been created with love and successfully tested by me personally on my resin printer to ensure they look the best they can and print reliably. If successful, my goal is to continually expand the Armory, introducing new themes and components based on community feedback.
Whether you're crafting a display piece for your shelf, outfitting your next cosplay, or simply want to toy around with the builder, I can't wait to see what you build.
